Is it possible to create another RAID next to the one already created?

Good day.
There is such a problem, a raid6 is raised on a server using an intel raid controller. Everything works stably, but there was a need to add 8 more screws to the server. And then the problem arose, is it possible to save the existing raid6, and create raid10 next to it. If so, who did it using the intel raid bios console configuration wizard? In addition, there is an interesting fact, all 3 screws out of 8 are displayed in the console. how is that? I would be grateful even for links to this manual.

I'm afraid to be wrong, but I think that it depends specifically on the model of the controller.

Most likely yes, most controllers allow, but I met a couple who were so stupid that they didn’t, read the specs.

I can say for sure - you can.
I have the same controller, it has a slightly moronic system, but with a little poking, you can figure it out.
Create a group, add free disks there, then create a RAID. Actually, nothing complicated
. By the way, it is more convenient to adjust the mouse. On the keyboard - the brain will break.
