How to set up Jira Agile for developing web projects?
It's been a hard week of debriefing. Installed, trying to set up, but the structure is not entirely clear.
I haven’t decided which type of project to use, so far we have chosen Software Development, since it has the Review status.
Kanban VS Scrum is also not clear yet. Used Kanban a little.
Important
- both developers and reviewers can participate in the process. If the task initiator has determined the acceptor, then after the task is completed, the developer can only make the Review status, and the acceptor either for revision or Done.
- The process of working on the project takes place in stages. (1 Idea, 2 Analytics, 3 Design, 4 Development, etc.). At each stage, especially in development, different developers, freelancers, etc. are involved.
- Either through Epics or for each stage in the form of Issue, we can fix the Stage. (I'm not exactly sure whether to do this - for Issue to be equivalent to a project stage or not). Each stage can have 5-10 tasks, and in development it can be a ratio of tasks, preferably structured. For example, "4. Development - Design - Layout design blue - Logo insertion". Of course, we can do this manually "in the description of the task", but it is more convenient, of course, to nest it. In total - for each stage there will be a set of subtasks.
- Tasks can be created by the performer himself and be sure to indicate the time that he plans to spend on the task
- It is necessary that when taking the task for development, the time is automatically calculated... In progress -> in review or In Progress -> Done (if the task does not have an acceptor)
- Also for different freelancers, so that they can be allowed into the system to work on a specific task, and so that there are also tasks and a reviewer (or lack thereof).
- Now any developer can change the status of tasks as he wants, incl. not theirs.
This is the current understanding.
So far, there are several developers, but we want to see the whole picture through Giroud for all projects and so that the development process is visible and the effectiveness is clear
. Please tell me how to organize and how to customize Giroud for your processes ... Otherwise, it’s not clear on the docks
Thank you!

Globally, your questions can be divided into 2 groups:
1. Administrative (organizational)
2. Technical (administration)
For the first group of questions, you need to:
a) Describe the process, understand what artifacts you need, how you want to control the quality of the process (metrics)
b ) Understand that Jira is a corporate system and you need to pay for each license For the second group of questions, you

administration and use of the system.
As for the issue with automatic time tracking .. It's possible. But there are certain problems. I wrote about them in my question here on Toster.
