How to set up a virtual network between machines in VMware Workstation?

The network between virtual machines does not work. I did everything according to the manual as it should: I set NAT on both machines in the network adapters, which, in turn, distributed addresses from the same subnet. The Internet responds well, but the ping between virtual machines does not transit. Moreover, I tried to make an internal network (via GNS3 with adding hosts and binding them to adapters previously created in WMware). Even earlier, I tried to do the same in VirtualBox.
