How to set up a network environment between Linux and Windows?
I would like to put the second axis linux (xUbuntu) in the office. Since I consider it necessary for myself to study this axis. But here is the doubt and the question: will it be difficult to set up a network environment between my computer and others? The network is very important, so the exchange of files occurs only through it.

google "setup samaba"
for a modern desktop linux distribution, it's probably enough to click in the windows

Let me ask you another stupid question. Will I be able to access other PCs on the same network? Just the link says how to share your folder for others. But how to see the folders of other users?
Everyone has already said about samba. Samba in the Windows network is our everything. It represents Linux on the Windows network, it allows you to use Windows accounts. To mount other people's resources, CIFS is enough. Folders of others can be seen in the same way as in Windows - if they shared them, or if the domain and you are its administrator. I don’t know what the default gui is in bubuntu, but now almost any gui allows you to open a network environment. I use CentOS 6.x and TDE myself.
Ask if anything.
