How to set up a laptop and a monitor so that the code is written in one and the browser is in another?

I have a laptop with Windows 10 on it and a monitor. I connected via vga but they both show the same thing, but how can I make it so that the code is written in Sublime, for example, on a laptop, and the browser is updated on the monitor, well, through the same livereload or gulp ? I really haven’t figured out the gallp yet, but still.
Thank you!

Go to monitor settings, and select "extension" instead of "duplicate". In win10, this can be done quickly with the Win + P combination.
By the way, if your monitor has an extension of about fullHD or more - VGA will not do very well here, it is better to use a digital interface.
