How to set the time to show the notify-send notification?

Actually a question. There is a notification script that uses notify-send and there is an option --expire-time=TIME - what time to display the notification on the screen. It does not have any effect, can anyone come across a similar one?

• Perhaps you are specifying the timeout in seconds, but it should be in milliseconds in --expire-time
