How to set custom screen resolution in Windows 7 under Virtualbox on iMac?
iMac 21.5'' mid 2011, Mac OS X Yosemite. Recently moved from Parallels, which requires a paid upgrade to a new version, to the free Virtualbox. In the screen resolution setting in Windows 7, there are only resolutions for 4:3, but not for 16:9 at all. Accordingly, there is 1920x1440, but there is no trace of the 1920x1080 I need.
I set up 2D and 3D acceleration, enabled the option to fit the host screen, installed the Virtualbox Extension Pack and Guest Utilities. But none of this helped. Installing drivers from the iMac video card also does not help, since there is no AMD Radeon HD 6750M for Windows 7, but there is a VirtualBox Graphics Adapter for Windows Vista and 7.

I don't know if it will help or not. I have a slightly different situation with firewood. Then bootcamp helped. I put both Macos and Windu.
