How to set any taskbar color?

Hello.
Microsoft recently rolled out the long-awaited Windows 10 1903 that comes with a light theme, which is good news. But, as before, the system does not allow using any color in the taskbar:
First, it offers to select any RGB value, but then leads it to one of "its" colors.
Is there any way to stop this mess?
(I'm willing to go for any dirty tricks, hooks, hacks, memory patches, whatever)
