How to separate work and life?

You come to work, do the tasks, everything is, in general, good.
But in addition to work, there is also study, personal life. And when you come home / to an educational institution, it is simply incredibly difficult to switch to another. The head is still thinking through solutions to various problems. Although somewhere in the background you realize that everything has its time and it's time to relax and switch.
How do you deal with this? Give advice, please. Very difficult.

It seems to me that "Work" with a capital letter, when you enjoy it all the time, is somewhat idealized. In any activity there are pleasant and interesting elements, but there is a routine. If you quit the activity as soon as an uninspiring piece has gone, you won’t go far. So being tired from work is completely normal.
And about the recommendations - it helps me to make lists of tasks. In psychology, the operation is called "reset". Just before leaving work, I sit down and write down on paper (any applications are also possible, but paper helps me more) all the tasks, questions, doubts that are spinning in my head. The brain understands that the information is saved, will not be lost, and it is not necessary to keep it in the background all the time. Switching becomes really easy.

Let it go.
The usual overload, over time you adapt.
And at home, in order to be distracted, there should be a factor on which you can be distracted - who has children, who has friends and booze.

a vacation at your own expense for a couple of months a year will save you.

It is necessary to choose correctly, at what and Work and Life. It's stupid to waste your life doing something you don't like. The work must be loved and creative, so that you can set tasks for yourself and solve them. Tasks should challenge your abilities and knowledge, you should constantly improve. And then it doesn't matter that you can't "switch" (consider "off") - moreover, it becomes undesirable.
In addition, in psychology there is such a thing as a "flow state". Partially above, I describe it. Something like the discovery of superpowers (like the same magic pill from the movie "Regions of Darkness", only without the pill). For some reason, this phenomenon is not studied enough, although it definitely works - it has been verified.

There is a so-called theory of four burners, according to which you have to choose between areas of life, be average in everything, or achieve outstanding success in one thing: https://lifehacker.ru/2016/07/12/the-four-burners-. .. I don’t exactly share it, but I have a slightly different view on this issue, which I voiced in my article https://mentoristb.wordpress.com/2016/04/22/%D1%81... In short: it is necessary to manage with your attention and keep focus on a certain area at a particular moment in time
