How to send printers to a server?

So there is a 1C server on WinServer 2008 (and 2016), there are users' computers on Ubuntu 18.04 who sit in 1C via RDP on the server on a thick client. And there are printers that are locally connected to users' computers via usb (HP LaserJet different series). It is necessary to give all users the opportunity to print while in RDP to any of the printers. It is very important to have the functionality of the printer when the computers are turned off. I sinfully decided that my solution was in print servers (usb-ethernet), but it turned out that they had sunk into oblivion. Buying a router for each printer is a so-so idea.
How would you solve this problem?

@Ziptar

Are the printers connected via USB to the workstations and you want to access these printers when the workstations are turned off? What is it like?
Google search shows a bunch of offers from 20 euros apiece
