Hello. There is hosting with cPanel on this hosting there is a domain that needs to be attached to a working site on vps (the site opens if you write the server ip in the address bar). Please tell me how to do it. Where in cPanel to untie the domain from the hosting, do I need to configure something later with the company in which the domain is registered or just by connecting to the vps everything will work?

There is a WWW field in DNS, enter the IP of your VPS server there!

This is done on the NS servers. Not the fact that they are on Cpanel.
