Guys, tell me, is it true, what happens when psd is not accepted, but the administration approves a WordPress theme with the same design?
I would also like to get advice from seasoned zemforests, what to focus on, what topics are in demand, what is definitely not held in high esteem there, and so on, I am very grateful in advance.

Yes, this happens, since different people sit on moderation in PSD and WORDPRESS. And although Timforest has some basic internal rules for accepting work, for the most part it all comes down to the subjective opinion of a particular moderator.
I had experience in different categories, at the beginning I always got a refusal, in the very first works even 3 times :) But in the end I didn’t give up, I monitored popular works, improved my own and sent it again, in the end everyone was accepted.
You should try to focus on the mainstream, for example, Flat style is popular in design now, but in general it’s useful to ask yourself – does my work really look cool? If in doubt, then you need to improve more and further.
And by the way, moderators always have a biased attitude towards newcomers. For seasoned authors who already have a sufficient number of sales, new works are easier to accept than those who came from the street for the first time. New entries have to be really cool to be accepted. I wish you success!
