How is template protected from themeforest?

If I buy a template on themeforest on a regular basis, will I need to register a domain and put some scripts there?
If I still have a test subdomain, I plan to purchase a normal one - what should I do then?
No paid subscription is planned - the site is open to the world, in theory it comes out regularly, but subdomains by city are planned. Will this count as one site for forest?

There is no protection. After payment, you will receive an archive with html, css, js files.
As for subdomains, I can't say.

themeforest does not have any template protection. After buying, calmly put it where you like.

My case: using the Wordpress theme Newspaper on a site with subdomains (for cities). The theme was purchased from ThemeForest.
On the support forum, the theme developer (tagdiv) replied that if the theme is used within the same project (site), then it is possible.
