How to return a page to Google?

Hello everyone!)

This is the situation: I updated the information on the page, added pictures, text, links. Prior to this, the position in Google was 1 or 2 place.
After a couple of weeks, the page disappeared from the search. Sent for re-indexing - no result. It's been 6 weeks already, and the page appears in the search results for only one request, and then in 6th place.

Tell me, who faced? How to return the previous position? Can restore the old version?

Return the old version, after a week or two, track the dynamics.
If it is positive, do not touch anything, it may grow up, but as you were told earlier, it is not a fact that it is up to the previous position of the TOP.
If it doesn’t take the TOP-5 for previously promoted queries, then make changes in stages and track the dynamics.
Analyze the changes that you made (after which the page fell out of the TOP), maybe re-optimization was allowed.

If someone knew how ranking works, they would have become a millionaire long ago.
At least from the point of view of Google, the page has become less relevant, no one will say the reason.
Return the old version, and this will not be a guarantee of a return, others have taken your place in the search.
