How to restore MacOS extended USB drive?
There is a USB disk formatted as MacOS extended (I don’t immediately remember whether logging is enabled or not)
Since it fell off while writing files to it and now some of the folders are shown as files, the disk itself is mounted as Read Only
I tried to check it using the native Disk Management utility, but it gives an error, they say broken FS, copy all the files and reformat.
I have already copied those files that could be copied, but I would also like to restore the folders that are now visible as files.
Are there more advanced FS verification utilities for mac?
Clarification, fsck error "Problem: b-tree key for "HFS+ Private Data" directory is out of order."
