How to resolve conflict between server and modem?

Good evening!
I must say right away that I don’t understand anything about computer networks at all.

There is a server to which I connect first via vpn, and then via ssh. The username and password were given to me by the admin. The server is located at 192.168.0.XXX:YYYY, I go there and perform calculations directly on the site.

Recently installed a yota modem, tried to do the same operations:
When connecting to vpn, a warning appears:
The DNS server address 192.168.
(192.168.0.1 is the address for accessing the statistics of just the modem from the iota)

In general, as I understand it, there is a conflict between the iota and the server. DHCP disabled / enabled, did not help.
Question: what settings and how do I need to change (well, or just without specifics - in which direction to look?), So that I can continue to work? Tried with another provider - everything is ok.

Thank you in advance!

@Timebird

Are the internal network settings in the modem at 192.168.0.1?
If not (blocked), then look for a modem of a different model - sometimes they are found with the default 192.168.1.X subnet.

@antipetya

you have the same admin. Giving routes in vpn to the standard router subnet 192.168.0.0 is PPC. Let him make 172.17..... and from there nat to your local area.
