How to repair bad sectors?

One fine day, the external hard drive stopped working normally. It took a very long time to open, some of the files are not copied referring to the wrong CRC. At first I thought that the controller of the external box had flown, but when the disk was connected to the drive in the laptop, it showed the same problems. The standard Windows sector recovery utility checked the disk for an incredibly long time (3 days), but turned off the light for a couple of seconds. In fact, a very small part of the disk was checked, because. the process indicator was only 5 percent full. I tried to restore using Victoria, but immediately after launch it fell out with various errors, which in the end I could not fix and the program was sent to hell. As a result, the HDD Regenerator program was downloaded. During the first hour, 0.51% of the disk was scanned. Since then, another 3 days have passed and the program is still at 0.51%, but it is clear that the sectors are constantly changing and the number of bad sectors is growing. Almost 200 bad sectors have been found so far. Of these, 1 has been restored.

If the disk began to crumble, then you need to merge more or less valuable data from it, and not restore sectors. These kinds of hardware problems cannot be fixed by software.

Something similar happens with knocked / shaken external and laptop disks. Heads "striped" on the surface.
Then you diligently finished off the disc for a week.
If the information is worth it, stop experimenting and take the disk to specialists.
If not - continue in the same spirit. Maybe it will work...

HDD Regenerator - evil in its purest form, apparently created for a money scam, because. in the original it is paid. It can help only in the simplest cases on a couple of soft troubles. By the way, here is an example of how this "regenerator" works nazyura.hardw.net/Part01.htm
And actually, if you need data from it, you have almost buried it and you should take it to a serious DR company, and if you restore it, it will not work for sure, because modern screws are very poorly repaired due to high densities, and laptop screws are even more so.

Yes, Victoria was sent in vain by you, having figured it out for 3 days, I wouldn’t wait))
And the HDD Regenerator also visited her somehow for 2 days, and as a result, 1 sector, which, damn it, when you press the button, treat or fix what I don’t remember ..
in general, zero effect.
