How to render on a budget machine?

With a budget of about 50k per system unit, will there be a profit if you get confused with gpu rendering (vray) and focus on the video card, or leave this idea and boost the cpu (spend money on a good mother, cool and overclock)? Provided that the processor, based on the budget, something like amd fx 8300-8350 is assumed.

So vray counts on the CPU. And then it depends on what you will render. If interiors and architecture, then this is vray or corona renderer, since they have fast algorithms for rendering secondary global illumination. In this case, invest in percents and operatives. If you are more into object visualization and photorealistic 3d illustrations, where you need exceptional accuracy in lighting calculations, then the choice is for the GPU and octane render / arion / cycles gpu. Octane on a video card is really fast, but it costs a lot of money.

If VRay, then you need to invest in the processor. A good boost would be quad-channel memory.
