Hello.
I decided to customize Ubuntu (enough). Put Plank, icons, etc. But the question arose - how to remove the panel on the left? Those. not just hide it, but remove it altogether.

As far as I remember, no way.
I advise you to roll another shell (KDE, XFCE, etc.) Unity is never customizable.
