How to remove the day of the week from the time display in GNOME 3.24?

Dear gnomes, in fact, a subject.

Something this day of the week takes up a lot of space in the panel.
And I'm not a gnome at all. We need to help a friend.
I've already tweaked all the settings. At least go to the source ...

@dummyman

Additional settings or Gnome Tweak Tool in the original installed? We go to the extensions, add new ones or immediately to the extension site (can you install extensions?) And set, for example, this:
https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/1206/clock-...
Then in the settings of this extension you can specify the format time display. No day of the week, only time would be %H:%M
