How to remove metal from a mounting hole in a board?
Hello. I need a phono stage, but since the ready-made prices are not very affordable, I decided to buy a set for a "young technician". Taking a soldering iron in my hands for the first time and reading an article on Habré, I undertook to fix the parts on the board and solder them. It seems that everything worked out, but several parts could not be fixed, since it was metal in the mounting holes (it was there immediately after purchase). The metal is deep inside the hole and the soldering iron head will not fit there; It also failed to open with a regular needle. How to remove this metal and fix the part in the board?

Metal or solder?
And so, either with a drill with a drill in size, or if the solder turns out strangely :)
If there is solder - warming up + a toothpick or a needle from a syringe of a suitable diameter. If there is suction - warm it up and remove it.
suction is inexpensive, better than nothing can cope with this task
Most likely - this is solder that got there when the tracks were tinned. A drill is the last option. Warming up and a toothpick is the most affordable. Buy ONLY FOR THE SAKE OF THIS suction, I would not. If the hole is 0.7 or more - you can blow it through your mouth - warm up on one side, and blow well on the other. Just do not "kiss", otherwise the traces of the track will decorate your lips;)
