How many matrices can be connected to nano*?

www.friendlyarm.com on this site there is a mini PS to which you can connect a matrix of devices ( http://www.friendlyarm.com/index.php?route=product... I know what else to call it).
Question: if anyone is familiar with these boards, how many matrix devices can be connected to one nano * at the same time?
Or is there any expansion board that supported the simultaneous connection of several devices?
I'm sorry for the mistakes!

These modules have a different connection to the module with a microcontroller. I2C is most often used, on it with an address length in the bus of 8 bits, up to 256 devices can be placed. In your modules, the addresses are hard-coded, they should not intersect, so hang as much as you need, the main thing is that your power supply does not sink under load.

As I understand Matrix is the name of the manufacturer. If you search well, you can find all this cheaper and closer to home.
As for connecting to Nano, it all depends on specific devices, for example, 3-4 devices can be connected to I2C in practice. But if necessary, it can be emulated programmatically on other pins. The same UART, in Nano it is only one, but there is the possibility of software emulation. Only one device can be connected to SPI
