Hello everyone ...
When watching movies in 1080p quality, lags are noticeable, while 720p goes without lags. I watch both from the computer and from the GI 8120 receiver on the Viewsonic VX2433wm monitor. Please tell me how to fix this? I suspect it's the monitor. Planning to buy a TV. What if you buy a 200Hz TV, will it help? Thanks in advance...

I'm not a strong specialist in this, but on Windows full-hd films I also lag, until I picked up some kind of player that showed normally. By the way, on Linux, almost all distributions that I tried had video players that did not lag with full-hd. Try some live-cd to boot and see. It seems to me nevertheless it not the monitor mows.
