Two monitors 27 (2540x1440) for programming, is it convenient?

Now I have two monitors 24 full hd, the minus is that they cannot be turned into portrait mode and they are not adjustable in height. There was an opportunity to update. I’m thinking of taking two 27 "(2540x1440) ips matrix. The tasks are only web programming, I will connect to the macbook retina. But I doubt if they will be too big? monitors, how is it?Or do not take a steam bath and take a good 24 on ips?

I have 2 Dell'a 27" U2711. One is horizontal, the second is turned vertically. Very convenient. Before that there were 24". The difference between 24 and 27 inches is almost imperceptible.
