How to remove hard drives?
You need to remove three HDDs from the computer.
Questions:
1) Are there special mini-boxes for HDD, so that they don't just lie gathering dust on the system unit?
2) To take it out no further than the system unit - just pull the wire out and connect it?
Separate issue:
There is a need to disconnect a pair of HDDs from the computer just for storage. How to store? just laying on top of each other? How to organize storage so that it turns out "without problems"?

I remember when flash drives were insanely expensive and not in every provincial city were on sale, we went to each other with screws, used bags with air bubbles for carrying, and when we copied from one screw to another, we put material under the hard drive that does not conduct electricity in that the number is static, in our case it was a book or a magazine.
You can buy boxes for discs like this: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GU945UQ/ref=oh_detail...
I think there are boxes for 3.5" too.
It's not clear from the question exactly what is needed.
1) Store without connection : You can buy silicone cases. It doesn't make much sense, but it looks nice.
2) Store and very rarely connect : the cheapest way is to buy a simple posting, like this or an external docking station .
3) Regularly connect or keep constantly connected : mobile rack or some kind of DAS .
4) Have access op network : NAS
