Hello.
I apologize for a possibly stupid question, I'm just not a programmer.
Installed a template for wordpress and decided to remove the copyright. But as soon as I removed the links, the template stopped working.
Went the other way.
I decided to visually hide the links with the tag: </noindex>. And hide links from indexing by search engines with the : rel="nofollow" attribute.
Tell me if this rel="nofollow" attribute is valid, and are copyright links really not indexed now?
They just write that the problem cannot be solved in this way and the links are still indexed by the PS.
And is it possible, in some other way, to remove copyright from the site, if this method is not suitable?
Yes, it is clear that copyright must be respected. But the template is freely available, so ... (this is a digression for ardent supporters of copyright).
