How to remove an object after a click in power point?

There are blocks on the slide. and you need to click to highlight each block individually. I did the highlighting in the following way: on click, a red frame appears around the block, but how to make it so that the next time this stroke disappears and appears on the next one?

Two options.
1. It is usually done like this: an object "frame" is made - a rectangle without filling - highlighting the block. An animation of appearance on click is set. Result: clicked - a selection frame appeared.
Then it is copied, for the subsequent ones, the animation of the appearance on a click is set AFTER the previous one. AND TOGETHER with it, the animation of the disappearance of the previous frame is put. And so for each.
Result: clicked - the first frame appeared. I clicked again - a second frame appeared, the first one hid. Etc.
2. You can use one single frame, and use the animation of its movement (motion paths in our opinion). A chore to set up, but fun.
