How to unlink powerpoint chart from pivot table?

There is a chart in powerpoint created based on pivot table data. At the moment of linking the chart to the pivot, the data selection area becomes inactive (gray) and it is impossible to perform any actions with it.

The question is how to untie the chart from the pivot table or change the data in the chart.
