How to register the rights to the site?

I decided to make a portal as a hobby, monetization is only sketches, its success is doubtful, but it will be a shame if it shoots to lose control over it. So I was not interested in how the rights to the site are formalized? That is, in which case, how can I prove that the site is really mine, and I didn’t steal it by picking up a password from someone else’s hosting? Is it obligatory to register an individual entrepreneur/JSC or can I just be an individual? And will I also be required to keep any reporting on the site, profit is not profit, or have I filed and forgotten?

To conduct business in the legal field, it will be necessary to register an individual entrepreneur / non-public company.
In Russia, there is a presumption of innocence and you don’t have to prove something exactly yours until others start encroaching on it.
Reporting - to question 1.

it is enough to register a domain for yourself and not squander it

In my opinion, your question can be divided conditionally into two points.
The first is ownership of the domain name itself.
The second is the ownership of the software product itself.
The first is solved by registering a domain name in your name. Those. it is better for you to register with the hoster / registrar and register the domain in your name.
The second is to conclude an agreement with the developer of the site itself, in which it is written that the property rights to it belong to you. If you are a developer, then it's easier. You are by definition. But then make sure that the code itself is not stolen ...

<Oftopik:
he himself thought about creating a city portal. I've been looking at analogues for a long time. And came to disappointing conclusions:
1. Content. In order to enter the portal, it must be of very high quality and fresh. It's quite expensive.
2. Monetization is a complete hemorrhoid. Vryatli will be able to reach even operational zero.
3. Without investment will not take off.
The conclusions turned out to be devastating for my hsv ;( The era of portals is over.
