How to register as a remote worker?

hello everyone,
I'm getting a job remotely for an employer in another city.
the employer sent the employment contract by e-mail, asks me to sign in two places that I agree with the employment contract and that I received a copy of the employment contract, then send it by courier mail (not regular Russian mail) along with a work book.
I have never been registered to work remotely before, I am very embarrassed by the request to send by courier service, I am embarrassed that I will send all the documents signed on my part, but it is not known whether I will receive and when I will receive back the employment contract.
it seems that it makes no sense for the employer to deceive, but on the other hand, I would like to ask the habr community for advice on how best to send and receive documents on employment registration and on the transfer of a work book

It seems to me that you should not start working until you receive a copy of the employment contract with all signatures and seals in your hands, the organization keeps the work book after employment and returns it with records upon dismissal. Here you can ask for a scan of the labor page where it was made to record that you were hired.

What asks to be sent by courier service is normal. Documents between legal entities are also often sent through a courier, so that it is safe and fast.
As for the embarrassing “getting it back” factor, you can share your concerns with the employer and ask for scans to be sent to you immediately by e-mail, and then also sent to you via courier service.
My opinion is that there is nothing to be afraid of, but you need to communicate with the employer and not be afraid to share your concerns with him (applies to various situations)
