Can I transfer work on an already started project to Upwork?

At the moment I am developing a project with hourly pay.
Is it possible to transfer this work to Upwork?
To use their app to calculate work time and add hours to your account. Doesn't this violate any Upwork rules? Do I understand correctly that the cost is 10%?
All communication is built through Bitbucket / skype, I would not want to leave this.

Bitbucket/skype is fine. It's possible.
But do not forget to duplicate all the fundamental points in the upwork chat, so that if there are problems, the support can protect. Well, if protection is not needed, then it is not clear why to lose 10%.
