How to reformat an HDD removed from a laptop?

Hello. Maybe someone came across: a fully serviceable Toshiba MQ01 ABF032 HDD removed from an Acer laptop is not formatted. I connect the disk via a USB box (healthy) as an external one (no letter is assigned to it), Acronis Disk Director 12.5 and HDD LowLevel Formatter 4.40 were used to initialize and create partitions. Programs see the disk as uninitialized, but when they try to low-level format they give errors. Previously, the BIOS password of the laptop was set on this disk, maybe this is the problem?

See what R.tester says about your disk: https://rlab.ru/tools/rtester.html
If there is no important data there, you can try to run a write test (10-15 percent will be enough), this will overwrite the beginning of the disk.
Then try formatting.
Although ideally it would be to use a direct connection via SATA, bypassing the USB bridge (you never know how weird it is).
