How to recover password from keychain?

I accidentally overwrote the password when he offered to resave it, but I don’t remember how, and now I’m silently entering the mail.
They seem to be copied to iCloud, how can I restore them from a backup?

If you changed/reset your password and the next time you logged in, a window appeared and you clicked NEW, then either you still have the old user password for the bundle or you have created a new one. Look in ~/Library/Keychain - the old keychain used to stay there and could be opened with the old password.

Well, in general, adequate mail services have a password / access recovery mechanism.

Look in Keychain access (keychain, located in "programs" - "others" or via spotlight). Use the search in this program to filter the data you need and see the resulting list. It is highly likely that for your entry there will be several identical entries and one of them (the older one) has an old password. The Keychain Access program itself does not know how to save old passwords after they are overwritten for one account, but it often creates duplicate accounts.

You probably mean Keychain access (search through spotlight). All accesses / passwords are recorded there when saved, and there you can also see what password and mail you have on different services (after entering the device password).
