How to choose an additional device for work?
Good afternoon.
Sometimes there is no access to a stationary PC, I use anydesk for remote work through a 2017 MacBook Pro (meager equipment). Began to notice a large number of lags. I want to change my device to work remotely.
Buy a macbook with a new processor, or still take something for windows?
It is necessary that the device is as ergonomic as possible.

when accessing a remote desktop, never reach the monitor's FPS.
If you have 5-10 frames per second, then this is already tolerable.
Since in modern realities, from pressing a button to a reaction on the screen, it takes
approximately 150 ms, even locally.
The main factor for comfortable remote work is the quality of the network.
At the same time, it is not its maximum bandwidth, but the guaranteed data bandwidth per unit of time.
In the case of working via WiFi, you can catch friezes even in your home LAN.
The power of modern devices is quite enough to process 4k video on the fly.
Everything revolves around the network.
Video codecs use optimization. With some periodicity, a full frame is transmitted, and between them only regions with changes. It follows from this that
there should not be live wallpapers on the desktop. And the less blinking there is, the better. Turn on Do Not Disturb. Ideally, the redraw should leave space under the mouse cursor and in the input area.
If it lags all the same, then the Internet provider is no good.
So it's cheaper to pay for high-quality Internet than to buy new devices.
To work on thin client technology, a device for 80 bucks is enough
