How to recover from a formatted hard drive?

When installing windows 8.1 in the terminal (shift + f10), I executed the CLEAN command, respectively, all data on the hard disk was erased.
And it kept a lot of my projects, works... a lot of wasted time.
Is it possible to restore all this?
I have never had such a panic. I do not know what to do. Help me please .

Expand from backup, business. Or are you just now entering the category "ALREADY making backups"?
Make a sector-by-sector disk image.
Put the original disc away and in no case touch it anymore.
Now you can do something with the image. I have no idea what the hell is behind this CLEAN. If you're lucky today - just delete partitions from MBR/GPT. TestDisk with a good degree of probability will be able to help and the data will be in its virgin form.
If you are unlucky, try everything, you should start from the list at the end of the article about the same testdisk: https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/TestDisk

They already wrote correctly - drink tea and do nothing for 30 minutes. If the data is really important - call recovery companies. It will be easy to restore if you do nothing after the CLEAN command.
And congratulations on the transition to a new level "already doing backups."

Most data can be recovered. The most important thing is not to write anything to this disc.
You need a separate computer, or a separate operating system on a different hard drive.
Connect your cleaned disk to this computer (preferably in read-only mode) and run the recovery utility. Files must be restored to another (not yours) drive.

Clean simply clears partition information, everything is restored by TestDisk or Acronis Disk Director - it has a Recovery Expert tool - just for such cases
