How to recover an unformatted flash drive?

Hello! I tried to format the USB flash drive from under Ubuntu 16.04 to the FAT32 file system, but pulled it out (apparently) before the formatting process was completed. Now the computer does not see the flash drive at all (checked through the terminal with the df command). fdisk gives the following picture:

What to do?

Remove the flash drive from the port and insert it again. In the terminal, run the
Find device name command. If there are no other disks besides the system one, then most likely it will be sdb. Well, then run gparted as root and mark up the flash drive as you want.
sudo gparted /dev/sdb

and the partition must first be unmounted and then formatted?
