How to read man in a more pleasant way (not counting the docks on the official sites, if any)?

Why didn't anyone call man2html?
There doesn't seem to be a cgi script with it, and you'll get a ready-made manserver.

In Konqueror, type in the address bar man:/ssh(this thing is called the KDE Man Page Viewer).

some sites convert man to html.
not much in the media, but not in the "dos" window either :) is that what you don't like ??

xman, tkman. I like the last one. Tk is far from the newest language and certainly not the most popular, but tkman / tkinfo is an unchanged couple of programs that I install myself
