How to raise SSH correctly?
Hello everyone, I have a question.
There was a need for a client-server for the n-th number of devices. The main problem is that there are "gray" IPs on client and server PCs. There is a server on Linux with a white IP, we will call it "main". The idea is to make multiple SSH tunnels to the "master" server from the clients. And here is the main question. Where does OpenSSH store forwarded port data? This data, in theory, will be analyzed by the server part and display a list of "available" devices. Google didn't ban me, but I couldn't find this information

It does not store them, clients themselves ask the server to forward the port and you must know which port each has
and yes, it is impossible to control this process, the client can prescribe anyone, and there is no one to resolve conflicts.
google: ssh server get list tunnels -> first result
You need to solve your problem correctly with the help of vpn
