How to properly index Google images?

My problem is that there are only unique photos on the site, but they are not indexed. At least in google search console I don't see any information about images.
I added pictures to the site map, but even here there is an ambush - the map is generated by the module, and it does not show the pictures on the page (reduced), but the original ones. I do not know what to do. Can I remove them from the map and wait for it to be indexed itself?
