How to properly analyze the salaries of developers?
I looked at vacancies on a major portal for work in the CIS. The conclusion I made:
Java:
vacancies total 9027
salary from 305k - 286
salary from 385k - 86
According to Computer Vision:
total - 207
salary from 285k - 12 salary
from
350k - 8
less. The entry threshold in Java is much lower, but for some reason the salary is also higher. Can anyone advise how to make the selection more correctly?
And which of these areas is considered more "money"?

1. The demand for Java is higher than for CV
2. In Java, as you rightly noted, there is a lot of superfluous stuff, where in the end, for example, not Java is needed, but C ++, and the employer assumes that the applicant will switch from Java to pluses.
3. Look at the requirements for top vacancies in Java and top vacancies for CVs - this can also explain why there is such a spread in salaries.
In general, a normal and correct sample
Why does it not suit you?
If we talk about money, it is always profitable to open something of your own.
