Where to get a job if you graduated from art school and university in IT-specialty?
Hello.
My girlfriend graduated from art school, now she is studying with me at the university with a degree in Applied Mathematics and Informatics. Please advise where you can get a job to combine the IT-sphere and the ability to draw? What programs do you need to know (most likely Photoshop, but it is not clear at what level you need to know what to be able to do)? What equipment to buy (graphic tablet)? Where can I start (maybe participate in drawing competitions, get a certificate)? Thanks in advance.
ZY: I’ll make a reservation right away that the knowledge of programming and mathematics is not particularly settled in my head.
ZZY: I understand that the question may not be entirely appropriate on the toaster, but nevertheless I hope for answers from knowledgeable people.

From personal experience, 2 options emerged:
1. Web designer. Now there are many of them and even more, but there are very few good web designers who want to delve into the technical nuances of the project. Plus, there is the possibility of "lateral" development in the field of layout, programming, etc.
2. 3D design. A colleague at work told how his friend comes in handy with a technical education, since in 3D modeling environments, the ability to program is very useful. Amazing things are done at the code level (all serious shells support some kind of programming language), and not poking hundreds of buttons in terribly confusing interfaces.
