How to "preload" Google Maps?

Hey!
There is a map with markers on it.
I'm using panTo to navigate to the marker.
If the market is outside the map's visibility zone, when you go to it, the map is "loaded".
Is there any way to "preload" it? To make the transition to the marker smooth.
