How to partition a 500GB Ubuntu Server disk (web hosting, game servers)?

read some articles, forums, which in most cases are recommended:
use lvm
/boot 2GB
swap - RAM * 2
/ - 50GB
/home - everything else (446GB)
is still recommended to make
/var
/usr
/tmp separately in ext2
to increase fault tolerance ? if yes, how much space to allocate?
Or is the first option enough?
web hosting server and ten game servers

At the discretion of the admin, a couple of points only: /boot 2GB - maybe, 512MB with a head, maybe less, swap - RAM * 2 - not for all servers, imagine that you have 64GB or more memory, what for you need more than 128 gigs of swap, swap needed when there is not enough memory, not a lot, I personally do not use SWAP on servers where more than 16GB of memory, from 4x to 16 is equal to memory, less than 4x - * 2. Var - it is better to cut off separately, because. there are logs and if you forget to set up rotation or turn on debugging, you can accidentally fill up the entire partition space with them, and when /var is separate, it's not so scary. Whether to separate the hamster from the root is up to you, if nothing is stored in the hamster, except for a couple of configs, then it makes no sense, a wasted place, in short, just turn on the brain, there is no ideal option.
