I installed and configured Jailkit on Ubuntu Server 14.04 + gave the user the opportunity to use GIT, I connect via SSH (from a new user) and if I try to clone the repository, it gives an error:

warning: templates not found /usr/local/share/git-core/templates
fatal: Unable to find remote helper for 'https'

At the same time, the usual initialization of the repository works. As root, there are no problems with GIT. With what it can be connected?

Why is it breaking in /usr/local, did you build it from source?
