How many users can work in Ubuntu/WinServ2012 at the same time with a desktop?

To demonstrate the application, you need to periodically provide access to a remote server. The question is how much max. users can connect at the same time?
Of course, WinServ 2012 is better, but apparently there are limits. Are they available in Ubuntu or Debiane?

WinServ 2012 if you did not buy licenses, then the limit is 2 sessions (used for administration)
But this is a software limitation and is solved by purchasing CAL licenses or hacking dll
