How to overcome the chaotic appearance of windows of one program on different monitors?

Friends, good day!
Most likely the question in its brief form is not clear, so I will explain.
In fact, everything is extremely simple:
Macbook Pro 13 + external monitor.
I use both screen spaces.
The problem is that when working in Chandelier and Photoshop (mostly) the program windows jump to the second screen. Let's say Photoshop is open on an external one, I launch "Levels", "Save Options" (yes, it doesn't matter what, in fact), and this window appears on the screen of the laptop itself. This is terribly inconvenient, and actions that were once automatic become a waste of time.
Is this a solvable problem? Thank you in advance for your help!

This option worked for me - I just dragged the window to the second monitor, the next time I opened it, it was already in the right place.
The second option to create desktops is to place one on the macbook, the second on the external monitor

This is probably due to the fact that the main monitor is the laptop screen and by default new windows appear there.

All adobe products "Remember" the location of windows. I think your problem is that you are dragging home with a poppy from work (for example) and external monicas are different. If you sit in the same place and do not turn off (pull out the wire) the second monitor, the windows should remain where you left them.
Another option: arrange the windows as you need and close the application through the file-> close
