How to organize the reception / transmission of Wi-Fi between neighboring houses?

Hello.
Our house is not connected to wired internet, we use mobile modems. But, there is a person in a neighboring house who has the Internet and is ready to give it away via wi-fi. The houses are located in such a way that direct visibility is obtained only if you put the computer on the balcony (monoblock computer). And if it's so easy to catch, then there is no speed and the connection is constantly torn.
There is an idea to buy a wi-fi router (or whatever these boxes with antennas are called) so that it somehow catches wi-fi with an antenna on the balcony, and then sends it to the computer via a network cable. Can this be done?
