How to organize Shadow Remote without a domain?

There is a computer where the bot is spinning. It is located in the next room, but in the same local area network.
I would like to control it by shadow remote so that it does not fall into the lockscreen (sometimes I just look into the next room whether it is spinning or not).
How can this be organized?
Both PCs are regular win 10

If on the same local network, then it's easier to install VNC.

Shadow does not need a domain, IMHO.
