Hello. I work in an advertising company, they have advertising TVs in the city in different places (shops, administrations, cafes, etc). Each ad monitor is connected to a computer running Ubuntu 12.04. All computers are united in a Lan network. Computers turn off automatically according to a schedule every day, but you have to turn them on manually via Wake on lan.
