Running Mac Mini without Monitor (Ubuntu Server Boot)?
Hello.
I have a Mac Mini (Intel Core Duo, like 1.84GHz) with Ubuntu Server installed on it. There is a problem - it does not start without a monitor. Without a keyboard, it loads without problems, but without a monica, it does not.
Moreover, if you start the poppy with the monitor turned off, and after a while connect the monitor back, then nothing happens. There are no images.
What would you advise in such a situation, how to be?

If the monitor is connected via a VGA connector, try this hack:
There seems to be no point in connecting these pins, but this hack helped when installing hackintosh on laptops. Maybe it will help the other way too.
There are several macminis of different generations in the DC, there are no problems, the OS is native, I think it is necessary to drip towards ubunta.
If my memory serves me right, then starting from some version of the server ubunt (and not only ubunt, but suse too, for example) does not work in 80x25 text mode, but using a framebuffer or something like that. So you need to dig in this direction 100%. I would look in /etc/default/grub for a start, what they write about this.
